The member receiving Tech endorsement accepts responsibility for the continued safety of their car. The member is also responsible for insuring that any co-drivers correctly get tech inspection as required above.

Responsibility of any member will be a judgment call by the Tech Chief or Event Chief. Any irresponsible activity such as speeding or burning out at sites, gridding an unsafe car, etc. may be grounds for revocation or event Disqualification.

Access to the course:

The inner area and outer boundaries during runs is limited to workers, safety stewards, event chairpersons, and photographers approved by the event Tech Cheifs and Event Staff. Spectators and other photographers must stay within the spectator boundaries at the start/finish lines. A spectator is defined as any individual not directly involved with that run group. This includes workers who are not working and drivers who are not driving. Photographers must have a "spotter" in their presence at all times while beyond the spectator boundaries.

Show Rules

Street Life Tour is the fastest growing Grassroots Motorsports event in the Midwest and you are welcomed to show off your best. The car show is open to anyone who wants to compete with any vehicle you use on the streets. Competing in the car show will cost $25 dollars per car entered and only covers the admittance of the driver. All passengers must pay the general admittance fee. When you have purchased your exhibitors pass please proceed exactly where the officials direct you.

Parking at the Event is on a first come first serve basis and will also depend on your category. This will be done in order to expedite judging. If you would like to park with your club and still judged in a different category, this will need to be coordinated with Sanjay Ramudit at the Registration and XS Energy booth or E-mail carshow@streetlifetour.com. After you have been parked we cannot move you from your spot. Lawn chairs and Tents are allowed so please request extra space before you are parked.

Due to the number of vehicles to be judged, do not talk to judges during Car Show judging. The judging staff only has a few hours to complete all vehicle scoring. If they have questions about your entry they will approach you. We appreciate your co-operation and understanding due to the time constraints we have to complete the event. Judging is not based on the number or modifications but on workmanship. Modifications only accounts for 35% of overall points. Again, we appreciate your co-operation and will work our best to fairly and quickly judge all entries.
