If you love Drag Racing, you’re going to want to attend the Street Life Tour 2015! This awesome show is three events over two days. It will be held on September 18 and 19, 2015 at the Kil-Kare Speedway in Xenia, Ohio. This year’s tour, the eighth annual, will include a car show, a drifting competition, and the drag racing competition.
The drag racing competition is always a fan favorite. It will be held on Saturday the 19th. Anyone can register to participate provided that they meet the minimum requirements. Their vehicles have to meet all NHRA guidebooks as laid out in the current rulebook, and depending on the class, racers may be required to wear helmets, have roll bars in their vehicles, or meet other requirements.
All drivers have to wear their seat belts and wear long pants and shirts with sleeves. They will also have to have a valid driver’s license, insurance, and show their registration. Anyone who doesn’t follow these rules or breaks the rules on the day of the event will, of course, be disqualified. The Street Life team wants everyone to have fun, but they also have to put on a safe event.
Of course, there’s more at stake here than just having fun. There are also cash prizes! Those in the 11.50 to 12.99 class can win the title of Prince of the Streets and the $600 check that comes with it. Cars 13.00 and up are eligible for the Knight of the Streets title, which pays out $200. There are a number of other classes, too, such as the King of the Streets, Import King of the Streets, and King of the Diesels. All of these classes pay out a nice amount of money, so if you’re the competing type, you won’t want to miss the Street Life Tour Drag Racing.
